She’s been involved in circus since 2007. Marta is a professional circus artist, producer, and trainer. She has years of experience coordinating and running artistic projects—from festivals and workshops to performances—and she happily puts her juggling skills (of lists, files, and tasks this time!) to use when managing the day-to-day operations of the EJA.

Michael “Bubba” Hance

Michael Hance has been a driving force in both the circus and flow arts community and the world of finance. With a deep-rooted passion for the circus arts, he has spent over a decade volunteering his time and expertise to help build and support the community, all while excelling in his professional finance career. Michael has served as the voluntary CFO of the European Juggling Association (EJA) since 2020, overseeing financial management for the organisation, ensuring that its resources are effectively allocated to support its mission of promoting circus arts across Europe.

Simon has been part of the European juggling community since attending his first EJC in Karlsruhe in 2008. Over the years, he has combined his love for juggling with a dedication to organizing, driven by a passion for circus arts as a space for creativity, connection, and community building. He organised the EJC 2025 as President in the Netherlands, one of the 3 largest circus festivals ever. He believes the EJA can be both a guardian of continuity and a catalyst for a stronger European circus network.

For 9 days, the public will have the opportunity to enjoy the best international artists in circus galas, workshops covering various disciplines, fire shows, aerial performances, acrobatics, and the traditional juggling Olympics.

Hi! My name is Camila. I’m a videographer and photographer from Argentina. I love dancing, doing acrobatics, and learning new props. Basically, any excuse to move my body is the best plan for me! I’m passionate about documenting circus life, capturing the people, movement, creativity, and magic behind it all. Gamze Derinoz
Branding
Branding & Design Gamze shapes the EJA’s visual identity across its projects and communication, reflecting the energy, welcoming spirit and diversity of the association. Her role is to increase the EJA’s visibility, exposure and recognition both within and beyond the juggling community. Part of the juggling world since 2005, she is a total prop enthusiast and lifelong lover of fire spinning. Alongside her juggling passion, Gamze brings 20 years of professional design experience and a broad multidisciplinary skillset, allowing her to bring a wide perspective to her work.

Sonja Boeckmann
Archivist
At the heart of this work is Sonja Boeckmann, the long-standing archivist of the EJA and a key figure in preserving juggling history. For many years, Sonja has been: – Collecting and safeguarding materials from conventions and individuals – Cataloguing and organizing an immense and diverse body of content – Curating exhibitions at various EJCs – Ensuring that the cultural heritage of juggling is not lost over time Her work is driven by deep care for the community and an understanding that juggling is not only a practice, but also a cultural movement worth preserving. Thanks to her dedication, the EJA archive has become one of the most important informal cultural archives in the world of contemporary circus and juggling.

Víctor García Castiblanque

Communications & Image Coordinator since 2023 Víctor has been responsible for the EJA’s communications and visual identity since 2023, helping connect the association with the European juggling community through social media, campaigns, photography, video and digital content. After directing the EJC 2022 in Tres Cantos, Spain, he continued working with the EJA to strengthen its communication, preserve and share the spirit of the EJC, and make the association’s projects, people and history more visible across Europe. Passionate about circus, youth work and community-building, Víctor believes communication is a powerful tool to bring people together and keep the European juggling community connected. victor@eja.net
